Learn the Basics of Numerology
1
The number 1 is symbolic of initiative, assertiveness, leadership, and go-getter energy. 1 energy is bold and outgoing. It is typically viewed as masculine, although this is not absolute.
2
The number 2 represents collaboration, cooperation, partnership, and a willingness to support others. It is typically viewed as feminine, although this is not absolute.
3
The number 3 represents the energy of creation, creative prowess, and creativity. Similar to how children are naturally. Note all of the "c"s. The letter "c" is also 3 in Pythagorean numerology (see the Pythagorean Chart). 1 initiative/masculine + 2 collaboration/feminine = 3 creation.
4
The number 4 represents fairness and hard work. The Pythagorean's associated this number with justice. In fact, we still have expressions "square meal" or a "square deal" because of this association and because 4 is the first square number. "All sides equal"
5
The number 5 is symbolic of dynamic energy.
6
The number 6 represents family. 1 father + 2 mother + 3 child = 6 family. It also has healing qualities and in Pythagorean Mysticism it is a "perfect number". The factors of 6 ( 1 x 2 x 3 = 6 ) also sum to 6 (1 + 2 + 3 = 6).
7
The number 7 is symbolic of genius, intellect, and luck.
8
The number 8 represents industriousness, with parallels drawn to wealth and money.
9
The number 9 represents the ability to adapt and influence. Any number that is added to 9 will reduce back to itself. E.g. Let's say we add 7 to 9. Then 9 + 7 = 16 -> 1 + 6 = 7. This is how 9 "adapts" to other numbers in the arithmetic. Any number that is multiplied with 9 will reduce back to 9. E.g. Let's say we multiply 7 with 9. Then 7 x 9 = 63 -> 6 + 3 = 9. This is how 9 "influences" other numbers in the arithmetic.
11
The number 11 represents high-frequency, creative energy. It is the first master number.
22
The number 22 represents the master builder.
33
The number 33 represents the master teacher.
